| Penerangan CU | This competency unit describes the skills, knowledge and attitude requirements in seed health management. It is to ensure production of seeds is free from diseases. The person who is competent in seed health management shall be able to assess seed borne pathogen, manage seed-record keeping, organise seed management budgeting and manage seed-record keeping. The outcome of this competency is to ensure the seeds are in good health status in compliance with organisation’s business objectives |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person shall be competent in seed heath management particularly in seed borne diseases/pests. The person is also competent in crop pathology, able to extract culture and identify pathogens from infected seeds in compliance with the plant breeding and seed production management practice. The outcome will ensure seeds produced are healthy and free from pests and diseases. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Assess seed borne pathogen • Manage seed-record keeping • Organise seed management budgeting • Manage seed health management resources |
