| Penerangan CU | This CU describes the competencies required to manage the installation and commissioning of CEMS. The CEMS is a packaged system of gas analysers, gas sampling system and parameter monitors that are integrated with a data acquisition system. It measures gases, particulates and smoke emitted from stationary sources of air pollution and provides a continuous record of APCS performance in order to determine compliance with emission of operation limits. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to coordinate air emission compliance evaluation, conduct technical feasibility evaluation and manage CEMS installation and commissioning. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to manage the installation and commissioning of CEMS at the industrial facility in accordance with DOE regulatory requirements. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- • Coordinate air emission compliance evaluation • Conduct technical feasibility evaluation • Manage CEMS installation and commissioning |
