Penerangan CU | 3D Game Art Advanced Rigging describes the competencies required to make static 3D models ready for animation by adding the mechanical structure that control motion data. Before a 3D model can be handed over for animation, it must be bound to a system of joints and control handles so that it can be articulated into a desired pose for stills and animation. This CU covers advanced rigging techniques that will produce more complex deformation and refinement work. It builds on the basic and intermediate competencies of rigging and animation . The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to analyse technical requirements for rigging, create rigging setup based on animation requirements, conduct first pass skinning on asset, clean up rigging setup and skinning on mesh, and conduct final test in-game The outcome of this competency is high performance rigging that enables the desired animation to be achieved. |
