| Penerangan CU | Passive fire proofing works inspection is the quality control process of ensuring that passive fire proofing (PFP) works comply with international blasting & coating standards and client requirements. PFP is a coating system that contains fires or slows the spread through the use of fire-resistant coated structures. This CU covers the roles of the coating inspector in determining the readiness for commencement of PFP operation as well as in verifying the compliance of the coating application and quality with specified standards. The person who is competent in this CU will be able to identify PFP works inspection requirements, check environmental condition, painter competency certification, verify HSE compliance, determine status for commencement of PFP activities, monitor PFP application, and conduct WFT and DFT inspection. The outcome of this competency is to determine the readiness for PFP operation and to ensure that PFP work complies with international blasting & coating standards and client requirements |
