Penerangan CUPersonnel Technical Skill Development competency unit is to provide skill training to personnel in the piping design to ensure personnel are equipped with relevant and current knowledge and skill as to keep abreast with rapid technological change and advancement in achieving company’s mission, goal, objectives and direction.

Piping Design Manager is responsible to identify the training needs for the personnel, plan training programme / activities, organise and monitor the training implementation so as to ensure that they are qualified and capable to perform their job functions / responsibilities efficiently and effectively in accordance with regulatory / statutory body requirements, company’s direction, and Company Operating Procedure

The outcome of this competency unit is to successfully manage the skill training development and assure the effective of training achieved so that the personnel is equip with required knowledge and skill.

Objektif PembelajaranThe person who is competent in this CU shall be able to provide skill training to personnel in the piping design to
ensure personnel are equipped with relevant and current knowledge and skill as to keep abreast with rapid
technological change and advancement in achieving company’s mission, goal, objectives and direction. Upon
completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:-
· Conduct technical skill Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
· Plan technical skills development programmes / activities
· Organise technical skills development programmes / activities
· Supervise technical skills development programmes / activities implementation
· Prepare technical skills development programmes / activities implementation reports
