| Penerangan CU | The IP network devices upgrading describes the competency required when upgrading Internet Protocol (IP) network devices. He or she is the person to carry out IP network devices upgrading on site or remote access when there are a demand for upgrading or updating software or firmware. The person who is competent in IP network devices upgrading shall be able to perform IP network devices software / firmware upgrading requirements identification, conduct IP network devices software / firmware upgrading preparation, perform IP network devices software / firmware upgrading, perform IP network devices software / firmware upgrading assessment and report IP network devices software / firmware upgrading activities. The outcome of this competency is to produce skilled workforce which is able to understand the latest technology involved in switching, routing or security of the networks and to implement the latest stable version of the IP NE devices IOS according to customer demand so that the network proficiency and efficiency can be maintained in accordance with organisational requirements and standard operating procedures. |
