| Penerangan CU | The consultant will use all knowledge of facial structure and colour theory to assess the client’s hairstyle and colour to be used. Additionally, the consultant who is also a hairstylist can then proceed to analyse the client’s hair qualities and other hairstyling needs, discuss these with the client with a view to providing a complete service to the client. The consultant who is not a hair stylist by nature of profession will also require to have the same knowledge to work with a skilled hairstylist that is within the client’s budget to advise, discuss and at most times oversee the hairstyling being done. The consultant must at all times strive to ensure that the hairstyle is in harmony with the client’s personal styling requirements. The person who is competent in hair styling consultation shall be able to assess client’s requirements, analyse client’s facial features & hair texture, recommend hair services, perform hair styling and record services performed. The outcome of this competency is to enable hair styling consultation to be an essential contributing factor towards a person’s image enhancement, compliant to standard Professional Image Consultants’ practice. |
