Tajuk CU3D GAME ART ENVIRONMENT ASSET CREATION
Penerangan CU3D Game Art Environment Asset Creation describes the competencies required to create environment assets based on art direction and game engine requirements. In creating environment assets, game artists have to consider the nature, visual style and colour palette of the environment.

The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to analyse art direction requirements, conduct research and reference compilation, analyse grey box, create detailed 3D mesh, optimise 3D model topology, conduct test based on rigging requirements, create UV map and first pass textures, refine textures and conduct in-game test.

The outcome of this competency is creation of environmental assets that have the look and feel which fulfil game art direction and game engine requirements.

Objektif PembelajaranThe person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to create environment assets based on art direction and game engine requirements. Environment assets include buildings, terrain and game world.

Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:-
• Analyse art direction requirements
• Conduct research and reference compilation
• Analyse in-game place holder
• Create 3D mesh block out
• Create detailed 3D mesh based on confirmed mesh block out
• Create low poly model with UV map and first pass textures
• Refine asset textures
• Optimise environment asset
• Conduct in-game test
