| Penerangan CU | Playground Surface Impact Attenuation Testing describes the competencies required to conduct the triax method to evaluate the playground protective surfacing impact attenuation performance. Impact attenuation is the measure of the surfacing shock absorbing properties. The test method simulates the impact of a child’s head with the surface and quantifies impact in terms of g-max and Head Injury Criteria (HIC) scores. A competent person in this CU shall be able to determine surface impact attenuation testing requirements, set up surface impact attenuation testing equipment, conduct impact attenuation test, analyse test results and prepare impact attenuation test reports. The outcome of this competency is effective and accurate surface impact attenuation testing to ensure compliance with MS 2665 requirements. |
