| Penerangan CU | Precast Concrete Reinforcement Preparation describes the competencies required to install reinforcement items such as rebars, corrugated sleeve pipes and lifting hooks securely in the correct position into the mould. A competent person in this CU shall be able to determine reinforcement preparation requirements, perform bar cutting and bending, perform bar caging, place bar and cast-in items and perform housekeeping activities. The outcome of this competency is secure and correct placement of reinforcement items in the mould as per shop drawing prior to casting process to ensure production of quality products with high tensile strength and resistance against cracks. |
