| Penerangan CU | Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Component Overhaul describes the competency to perform overhaul activities which involve disassembly of the defective component from GSE compartment, troubleshoot failures, replace with serviceable parts/ repair the defective components, reinstall/reassembly to normal condition. The overhauled equipment/ components functionality test will be carried out prior to release for operation. Type of equipment may undergone overhaul process are engine, transmission, compressor, water pump, Axle and Motors (starter, hydraulic pump/ motor). A competent person in this CU shall be able to assess GSE overhaul service requirement, prepare overhaul tools ,equipment and materials, perform components defect verification, carry out defective component replacement/ rectification and perform work area housekeeping in accordance with maintenance procedure. The outcome of this competency is to ensure breakdown equipment being overhauled by performing few processes such as dismantle, replacements/ rectification and reinstallation the dismantled components and test prior release to service as per manufacturer specification. | Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to ensure breakdown equipment being overhauled by performing few processes such as dismantle, replacements/ rectification and reinstallation the dissembled components and test prior release to service as per manufacturer specification.
