| Penerangan CU | Container loading & unloading Supervision describes the competency in carry out containerised cargo operation handling. Containers terminals are designated for the handling, storage and possibly loading or unloading of cargo into or out of containers and where containers can be picked-up, dropped off, maintained, stored or loaded or unloaded from one mode of transport to another. The personnel who aspires to be competent in this competency must in prior have the following competencies in identifying container cargo operation mode, produce work sequence planning, perform manpower arrangement, perform toolbox and safety briefing, coordinates tools and equipment prepartion, assist berthing activity and coordinate housekeeping activity and shall be able to produce report in accordance to SOP and port authority requirement. To perform the CU, the personnel is required to have knowledge and skills in container cargo operation and physical fit to perform works. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that stevedores equipped with knowledge and skills to carry out container cargo operation handling using designated tools and equipment. |
