| Penerangan CU | Ceramic Greenware Making describes the competency in producing and handling wet or dry clay wares. At this stage the greenware are soft & malleable and may be in any of the stages of drying before undergoing a heat-treatment to produce a rigid, finished product. A competent person in this CU shall be able to identify greenware making requirements, prepare greenware tools, equipment & materials, produce greenware, evaluate greenware condition, dry ceramic greenware and perform work area and equipment housekeeping. The outcome of this competency is to produce greenware and to ensure they are in compliance with process requirements, design specifications and safety requirements. |
