| Penerangan CU | Media Relations Management is the competency of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling of all resources in conducting outreach or responding to the news media on behalf of the organisation or client. The person who is competent in Media Relations Management will be able to manage traditional media. Manage New media and Manage media network. An effective media relations manager should be able to establish excellent media relationship to secure organization-media cooperation, build wider media’s networking that provide wider media channels choices, and influence the medias to accomplish the organizational agenda, provide effective feedback in the media communication, and provide advisory services to the management especially in handling crisis. The manager's performance shall be measured based on the said requirements that are translated into the prescribed objectives and organization requirements. The outcome of this CU is to meet occupational skills standard which incorporate the skills, knowledge and attitude to be delivered systematically. |
