As the moulding machine works through the moulding process, the label is actually moulded into the plastic, resulting in a high quality label that is an integral part of the product or container itself. The benefits are many - the label is integrated into the product, meaning it cannot be removed or altered, and the labelling step of the production process is eliminated, saving time and money. The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to identify IML Production requirements, coordinate IML Production activities, carry out IML Moulding Production process and product finishing process which include report IML Production activities The outcome of this competency is to ensure In-mould labelling produce in good terms of image quality, flexibility and cost-efficiency according to customer requirement and end user satisfaction. |
