Every apparel production factory is unique in terms of problems faced and improvement areas to be carried out. Nevertheless, some common improvement areas include process improvement, product improvement and material saving. The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to implement process improvement projects, product improvement projects and material saving improvement projects. The outcome of this competency unit is continual and sustainable implementation of incremental improvement that will bring about significant enhancement in efficiency, quality as well as productivity. |
