Penerangan CUIn-flight Hospitality and Services Coordination describes the competency in coordinating airline in-flight services and maintaining the standards of flight attendant grooming in accordance to the standard set by airlines/companies in order to meet the satisfaction and demands of customers/passengers.
A competent person in this CU shall be able to carry out airline in-flight service delivery duties such as to coordinate passenger’s reception and farewell, assess subordinate’s hospitality standards and service competency, supervise meal service delivery and conduct in-flight sales delivery.
The outcome of this competency is to maintain high standards and consistency of flight attendant’s grooming and hospitality; and to ensure a smooth, coordinated, error-free, safe, efficient, organized and standard in-flight service delivery which is in line with the requirements of the Standard Operating Procedures by airlines or companies, accepted by International food and beverage service standards and meet the customer’s/passenger’s expectations, demands and satisfaction.

Objektif PembelajaranThe outcome of this competency is to ensure a smooth, coordinated, error-free, safe, efficient, organized and standard in-flight service delivery which is in line with the requirements of the Standard Operating Procedures by airlines or companies, accepted by International food and beverage service standards and meet the customer’s/passenger’s expectations, demands and satisfaction.
Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees shall be able to: -
1. Coordinate passenger’s reception and farewell.
2. Assess subordinates hospitality standards and service competency.
3. Supervise meal service delivery.
4. Supervise in-flight sales delivery.
