| Penerangan CU | Music Theory Teaching describes the competency in the study of the theoretical elements / fundamentals / rudiments of music including sound and pitch, rhythm, melody, harmony, and notation. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify teaching and learning requirements, teach music theory and conduct students’ performance assessment. The outcome of this competency is the ability to provide the students with the skills needed to read and write music notation, as well as to understand, analyse, and listen informedly. It will cover material such as pitches and scales, intervals, clefs, rhythm, form, meter, phrases and cadences, and basic harmony.
