| Penerangan CU | Atmospheric Testing Equipment Selection describes the competency in choosing the correct atmospheric testing equipment according to work requirement and company Standard Operating Procedure. The work equipment must be suitable for the purpose for which it is used or provided and used only for operations for which it is suitable. In selecting work equipment, one must take account of the working conditions and risk to safety, health and environment from the premises it will be used in, who will use the equipment and the work equipment itself. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify source of contaminant, check chemical properties, select testing detector for application and select testing detector accessories. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that equipment used during atmospheric testing operations functioning properly and effectively in accordance work requirement as well as continuously improving safety, health and environmental performance throughout site or plant. |
