| Penerangan CU | This competency unit describes the skills, knowledge and attitude requirements in non- sterile item packing process in the clean zone to ensure packing methods applied to wrap the procedures set for sterilization. As a result it will affect the quality and sterility of packed items. Selection, care and packaging of items are in accordance with International Standards ISO 14644. The person who is competent in moist heat sterilization clean zone process shall be able assemble clean non-sterile items, arrange assembled items, carryout packaging and label packs/ rigid container system/ pouch bags. The outcome of this competency is to perform non- sterile item packing process in the clean zone to ensure packing procedures set for sterilization applied to wrap the items. As a result, the quality and sterility of packed items confirmed. Selection, care and packaging of items are in accordance with International Standards ISO 14644 |
