| Penerangan CU | This competency unit describes the skills, knowledge and attitude requirements in sterile product storage area that must provide conditions for sterile items to not only remain sterile and functional, but must also be available when needed. Three conditions that will compromise packaging and sterility maintenance, that are moisture, soil and physical damage. He/she shall be able to arrangement, rotate, inspect and administer sterile product storage and distribution of sterile products. The person who is competent in sterile product storage shall be able to carryout sterile storage housekeeping, store sterile products , arrange sterile products, perform correct rotation of sterile products, perform inspection and inventory counting, perform sterile product release and distribute sterile item/product distribution. The outcome of this competency is to ensure sterile storage area is adequate to provide an efficient, effective space that ensures the protection of sterile items in accordance with Malaysian Sterile Services Association (MSSA) guidelines and International Standards (ISO11137). |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU should be able to ensure sterile storage area is adequate to provide an efficient, effective space that ensures the protection of sterile items in accordance with Malaysian Sterilization Services Association (MSSA) guidelines and international standards (ISO11137). Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to :- 1. Carried out sterile storage housekeeping 2. Store sterile products 3. Arrange sterile products 4.
