| Penerangan CU | Bicycle Sizing describes the competency in configuring the size and best possible arrangement of bicycle according to the size and posture of a rider. Bicycle sizing depends on the type of bike, rider height, rider riding style and preference. If the size and fit are in good configuration the bicycle will be faster, more comfortable and easier to handle.Bike sizing is crucial procedure to maximize rider comfort, efficiency, and to prevent injury. Fitting a road bicycle comes down to the contact points (connection points) between the rider and their bicycle. These five connection points are: right and left foot, the pelvis and right and left hands The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare bicycle sizing tools, equipment and working area, setup bicycle for sizing process, carry out saddle positioning, carry out handle bar positioning and rotation as well as carry out work area housekeeping. The outcome of this competency is to ensure that bicycle is configured and adjusted properly and effectively in accordance with customer’s body measurement, customer’s riding requirements, and company standard operating procedure |
