| Penerangan CU | The water operator sets the pipeline pressure to meet their own needs, such as delivering water to fire hydrants, high elevation buildings (or height resident area), and other reasons. High water pressure will cause of leaks, burst and pipe damage, these can cause wasted water, annoying, complaint and expensive damage. To reduce the problems, pipeline water pressure need to be controlled. The person who is competent in pipeline pressure control shall be able to propose high pressure area establishment, propose pipeline pressure control programme and monitor pressure at Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) The outcome of this competency is to ensure the pressure of water pipeline can be set and controlled as per regulatory body requirement for reducing annoying, complaint and expensive damage.
