| Penerangan CU | Plastics injection mould trial-run and validation is an important phase in the plastic injection mould manufacturing process. It is carried out to assess the mould design; performance and capability so that the sample product produced are as per requirements before the actual moulding or production process. This process is also carried out after the mould is being improved, modified or refurbished before returning to customer. The person who is competent in this competency unit shall be able to prepare plastics injection mould trial run schedule, organise plastic injection mould trial-run, administer plastics injection mould trial run and analyse plastics injection mould trial-run capability result. The outcome of this competency is to test and confirm that the mould is capable to produce plastics parts/products as per specifications and customer requirements. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to test and confirm that the mould is capable to produce plastics parts/products as per specifications and customer requirements.
