| Penerangan CU | Basic rigging and slinging operation is a process of lifting and moving heavy loads with ropes, chain and mechanical devices. A person who is competent in basic rigging and slinging operation shall be able to identify basic rigging and slinging work requirement, conduct visual inspection, identify required lifting accessories and appliances, perform basic rigging and slinging activities and prepare basic rigging and slinging activities report. The outcome of this competency is to ensure safe, correct and appropriate working practices in rigging and slinging activities inclusive of lifting gear selection, application of knot, hitch, signaling and sling angle. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to ensure safe, correct and appropriate working practices in rigging and slinging activities inclusive of lifting accessories selection, application of knot, hitch, signalling and sling angle.
