| Penerangan CU | Timber sorting and stacking is a process of arranging and bundling timber according to its specifications so that the timber can be easily managed or delivered. The process is performed by sorting timber, trimming timber end, stacking and bundling timber, and coating timber end. The purpose of this competency is to ensure timber is sorted and stacked based on its specifications in according with work instruction and comply with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 and its regulations. | Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to trim, sort, stack and bundle timber at specific location. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- · Identify timber sorting and stacking process requirements. · Perform timber sorting. · Perform timber end trimming. · Perform timber stacking. · Perform bundling work. · Perform timber end coating. · Verify timber conditions. · Report timber sorting and stacking activities. |
