| Penerangan CU | Rolling Production Support describes the competency in assisting the process of reducing the input materials gradually into desired product sizes through profiled rolls. . A competent person in this CU shall be able to prepare rolling production input materials, carry out materials input into hot rolling process, prepare mill set up requirements, dispose home scrap, carry out sampling of products for lab tests, carry out recounting and weighing of product and finalise rolled product packaging. The outcome of this competency is to produce semi-finished (i.e. wire rod) and final product (i.e. reinforced bar) will be used to further down streaming processes accordance to customer requirements or International standards (i.e. Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) and Malaysia Standards (MS)). |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to produce semi-finished (i.e. wire rod) and final product (i.e. reinforced bar) will be used to further down streaming processes accordance to customer requirements or International standards ( i.e. Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) or Malaysian Standards (MS)). Upon completion of this competency units, trainees will be able to:- 1. Prepare rolling production input materials 2. Carry out materials input into hot rolling process 3.
