Penerangan CUPoultry Slaughterhouse Halal Assurance Management System (HAS) Execution describes the competency in ensuring Halal integrity of poultry based on the concept of effective internal Halal management system throughout the supply chain. This includes monitoring, controlling, improving and preventing any non-compliance in the processing of Halal poultry products.

A competent person in this CU shall be able to determine Halal Assurance Management System (HAS) requirement, develop Halal assurance management system parameters, execute Halal management assurance system, administer Halal poultry slaughterhouse issues

The outcome of this competency is to ensure Halal integrity of poultry based on the concept of effective quality management system in accordance with regulatory body (JAKIM) guidelines for Halal Assurance Management System (HAS) and Malaysian Protocol for the Halal Meat and Poultry Productions and Malaysian Standard such as MS1500:2009 guideline

To perform the CU, the competency owner is required to fully understand the Halal Assurance Management System (HAS) guidelines in ensuring and preserving Halal integrity of products

3. Organize Halal Assurance Management System (HAS) training program
4. Execute Halal Assurance Management System (HAS) program
5. Administer Halal poultry slaughterhouse issues
