| Penerangan CU | Highway surveillance operation coordination describes the competency of supervising a team of highway patrolman in observing all listed subject or activities occurring or any sign to occur in the given highway surveillance area, and take necessary action as specified to achieved the determined objectives. The competency unit is important to ensure surveillance operation activities are coordinated accordingly and issue encountered are taken care of. A competent person in this competency unit shall be able to perform patrolling looping coordination, perform patrol looping communication, and perform public complain investigation The outcome of this competency unit is to continuously reduce accident rate, reduce number of negative user feedback on highway facilities and increase in the highway users satisfaction index at the most effective cost within a given period in accordance with organizational requirement. In performing highway surveillance activities, the incumbent must possess a valid car driving licence and motorcycle licence due to the nature of this activity that utilizes vehicle in completing the task. |
