Penerangan CUCoffee Brewing And Milk Preparation is the utmost important skills needed by all barista personnel which can only be achieved through training and these skills are not easy to replicate. The personnel must have a good understanding of the two main beverage ingredients: coffee beans and milk in order to produce a perfectly brewed coffee drinks.

A competent person in this CU shall be able to have the ability to multitask as they are expected to take orders from customers and prepare the drinks accordingly. The personnel will also need to be attentive listening to customer orders and prepare it correctly to the exact specifications and serving the customer within minutes of beverage preparation time.

The outcome of this competency is to produce the right customer’s beverage order and serve the customer within minutes of beverage preparation time in accordance with café standard operating procedures.

To perform the CU, the competency owner is required to have adequate knowledge and skills in café hygiene, food safety policies and food handling requirements as practiced by the industry.
