| Penerangan CU | The CU title describes the competency in marine mechanical function, service and repair. He or she is the person who is responsible for performing repair work on marine engine, main propulsion system, auxialiary machinery, deck machinery, safety system and water treatment system using proper tools and correct Personal Protective Equipments (PPE). He or she also help to plan maintenance schedule. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to prepare operation work order from superior, identify marine mechanical components / systems, perform Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirement, inspect maintenance tools to the work order and perform servicing marine mechanical components /systems. The outcome of this competency is to ensure all marine mechanical components and systems are operated and maintained based on maintenance and operation procedure, in accordance with IMO convention, MARPOL, ISM, SOLAS. |
