| Penerangan CU | Rotating equipment servicing describes the competencies required to service offshore rotating equipment such as pump, gas and air compressors and turbine engine. Rotating equipment has moving parts that move in circular motion. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify rotating equipment servicing requirements, perform visual inspection on rotating equipment, perform rotating equipment servicing and update maintenance logbook. The outcome of this competency is safe and optimum performance of rotating equipment and prevention of unnecessary downtime |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to perform rotating equipment servicing according to job and manufacturer’s specifications. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to:- 1. Identify rotating equipment servicing requirements. 2. Perform visual inspection on mechanical rotating equipment. 3. Perform rotating equipment servicing. 4. Update maintenance logbook. |
