| Penerangan CU | Thermal spray works inspection is the quality control process of ensuring that the thermal spray coating complies with international coating standards and client requirements. Thermal spray refers to the coating system whereby melted materials are sprayed onto a surface to produce thick coatings that can provide long lasting corrosion protection. This CU covers the roles of the coating inspector in determining the readiness for commencement of thermal spray aluminium operation and in verifying the compliance of the coating application and quality with the specified standards. The person who is competent in this CU will be able to identify thermal spray works inspection requirements, check environmental condition, thermal spray applicator competency certification, verify HSE compliance, determine status for commencement of thermal spray aluminium work activities, monitor thermal spray aluminium work and conduct DFT inspection. The outcome of this competency is to determine the readiness for thermal spray operation as well as to ensure that thermal spray work complies with international blasting & coating standards and client requirements |
