| Penerangan CU | Oil & gas metering facilities is installed on the platform to monitor and record the volume of oil & gas produced and sent out daily and accumulatively. This reading is taken as per company and authorised body requirements. The components such as turbine flow meters, transmitter and gauges are maintained to ensure that the reading taken is accurate. Just to prove the oil & gas metering is correct, the oil need to be diverted/ flowed into the meterprover to check the accuracy of the flow meter and recording purposes. To obtain required accuracy, the meters are calibrated. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify oil & gas metering component maintenance requirements, perform oil & gas metering component visual and physical inspection, perform oil & gas metering component routine service, perform oil & gas metering component functionality test and prepare maintenance report. The outcome of this competency is to ensure the reading is in compliance with the company and authorised body requirements. | Objektif Pembelajaran | The trainee who is competent in this CU shall be able to repair, service and upkeep oil & gas metering according to company standard operating procedure to ensure efficiency of equipment at all times. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to :- 1. Identify oil & gas metering maintenance requirements. 2. Perform oil & gas metering visual and physical inspection. 3. Perform oil & gas metering routine service. 4. Perform oil & gas metering functionality test. 5. Prepare maintenance report. |
