Penerangan CU | The forwarding operation management is the competency in planning, monitoring, informing, following and arranging to ensure the forwarding operation is conducted smoothly. Forwarding operation management organises shipments for individuals or corporations to get goods from the manufacturer or producer to a market, customer or final point of distribution. Forwarders contract with a carrier to move the goods. A forwarder does not move the goods but acts as an expert in supply chain management. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to plan forwarding operation, monitor operation work/ activity, inform customer on operation activity, follow up on delivery/collection arrangement and monitor billing to customer. The outcome of this competency is the forwarding job will be done in the most efficient, reliable, economical and manner possible. The goods will be transferred, without any damage, according to customer requirements in a safe and timely manner. |
