| Penerangan CU | Pressure relieving devices maintenance describes the competencies required to maintain pressure reliving valves (used in oil line) and pressure safety values (used in gas and compressed air line). These devices require regular maintenance and replacement due to wear and tear. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify pressure relieving devices maintenance requirements, perform visual inspection on pressure relieving devices, perform pressure relieving devices maintenance, perform leak test and update maintenance logbook. The outcome of this competency is to ensure optimum condition of pressure relieving devices, hence preventing over pressuring and explosion which will cause damage to equipment and threaten life |
