| Penerangan CU | Water injection is the production operation process whereby treated seawater is pumped into the well reservoir. This action will flood the well reservoir and sweep the crude oil to the production well tubing for recovery. The quality of the water for injection are ensured that they will not cause problems such as plugging and /or scaling on the injection equipment and ‘souring’ of the reservoir. The water injection package consist of the following components; seawater lift pump, chlorinator/chemical dosing, course filter, fine filter, UV stabilizer, Oxygen stripping tower, booster pump and main injection pump. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify water injection equipment maintenance requirements, perform water injection equipment electrical system visual and physical inspection, perform water injection equipment electrical system routine service, perform water injection equipment electrical system functionality test and prepare water injection equipment electrical system maintenance report. The outcome of this competency is to repair, service and upkeep water injection equipment according to company standard operating procedure to ensure efficiency and minimum downtime of equipment to optimize production. |
