| Penerangan CU | Offshore production consists of number of operations that allow the safe and efficient production of hydrocarbons from the well. The key operations include hydrocarbon and gas processing, oil and gas export, well testing, produced water treatment, gas/water injection as well as gas lift. The process system is monitored by the production operator during the surveillance walkabout and from the Central Control Room (CCR). The control and monitoring of involves routine checks on the platform operating condition according to set schedules, which include taking samples on oil, gas and water, recording, reading and identifying abnormalities. Any abnormalities found need to be rectified /removed so that the process system does not worsen and cause process upset and shutdown the plant. The person who is competent is this CU should be able to control process system operating parameters, perform test on product sample, perform well test, load and launch pig, receive and retrieve pig, prepare well for drilling./work over and wire line activities and perform acceptance of well after wire line/drilling/work over activities. The outcome of this competency is to perform routine checks of the process operating condition, identify and effectively address variations in operations to avoid process upset.
