| Penerangan CU | Platform utilities such as power generation, diesel system, seawater system, cooling medium system, firewater, separation system, drainage system, instrument air, fresh water, sewage and other wastes are used to support platform operations. The utilities system is monitored by the production technician during the surveillance walkabout and from the Central Control Room (CCR). The control and monitoring of involves routine checks on the platform operating condition according to set schedules, which include taking samples on oil, gas and water, recording, reading and identifying abnormalities. Any abnormalities found need to be rectified /removed so that the utilities system does not worsen and cause utilities upset and shutdown the plant. The person who is competent is this CU should be able to identify utilities system control and monitoring requirements, control utilities system operating parameters and perform utilities product sampling, The outcome of this competency is to perform routine checks of the process operating condition, identify and effectively address variations in operations to avoid process upset The personnel who will be competent in this competency must in prior have the following competencies:- Utilities System Operation Mode Routine Check & Scheduled Maintenance |
