| Penerangan CU | Calendering is a process in which a hot mass of rubber raw materials is fashioned into a continuous sheet by passage through a system of heated rolls that is a calender. The sheet is then cooled and wound up into rolls. It may be embossed with patterns before winding or it may be deposited on to a continuous web e.g. fabric, paper to form an adherent coating. Throughout the process wastewater and treatment chemical are generated. Disposal of these waste is done in accordance with company waste management policy and regulatory body requirement to avoid contamination that might harm the environment. The person who is competent in calendering based production shall be able to analyse calendering production job order, prepare calendering based production materials and parts, execute calendering process and produce calendering based production report in accordance with company SOP The outcome of this competency is to produce wide and infinitely long sheets rubber goods in accordance with job order specification for calendaring products |
