| Penerangan CU | Batik stamp (copper block stamp) is a method to apply wax on fabrics by putting hot wax onto pre-carved wooden or copper block and stamping the fabric. By block printing the wax onto the fabric, it became possible to mass-produce designs and intricate patterns much faster. Proper usage of tools and equipment is needed during performing the task to ensure high quality of work performance. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to identify batik stamp design specifications, prepare materials, wax, colour, colour fixation, tools and equipment, produce batik stamp, carry out finishing activities, quality inspection and product packing activities in accordance with batik stamp design specifications. The outcome of this competency is to produce batik stamp product in accordance with customer requirements. |
