| Penerangan CU | Aircraft operational maintenance is to maintain aircraft system (with limited release approval) in accordance with the requirement of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia (DCAM) and other regulatory bodies such as European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), and Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). The Competency Unit (CU) of Aircraft operational maintenance is developed based on Air Transport Association (ATA) System Chapter 100. The relevant chapters under ATA 100 are the following: - Chapter 28 (Fuel) - Chapter 29 (Hydraulic ) - Chapter 35 (oxygen) - Chapter 36 (Pneumatic) - Chapter 37 (Vacuum) - Chapter 38 (Water and Waste) The personnel who are competent in aircraft operational maintenance shall be able to identify, inspect, replace, and test, record and certify operational systems to meet continuous airworthiness standards. The outcome of this competency is to develop competent manpower in accordance with company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and job description. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | Aircraft system maintenance is to maintain aircraft system (with limited release approval) in accordance with the requirement of the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia (DCAM) and other regulatory bodies such as European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). The personnel who are competent in aircraft system maintenance shall be able to:- • Study the principle frame work on aircraft system maintenance • Identify aircraft system components • Inspect aircraft system component • Replace aircraft system component • Test aircraft system component |
