The assembly operation usually involves the process of alignment, fitting, bench working and tightening of the machined component. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to interpret component assembly technical drawing, prepare component assembly hand tools and accessories, perform component assembly and inspect finished assembled product. The outcomes of this CU are all the machined components are assembled with the correct alignment, fitting and tightening in accordance with component assembly drawing specifications. |
