| Penerangan CU | Performance Measurement and Verification (M&V) helps in verifying results of energy efficiency projects. It may also be used by facility operators to assess and improve facility performance. M&V is the process of using measurement to reliably determine actual savings for energy, demand, cost and greenhouse gases within a site by an Energy Conservation Measure (ECM). Measurements are used to verify savings, rather than applying deemed savings or theoretical engineering calculations, which are based on previous studies, manufacturer provided information or other indirect data. The personnel who are competent in this CU should be able to plan energy performance Measurement and Verification (M&V) activities, develop Measurement and Verification (M&V) model & strategy, evaluate Measurement and Verification (M&V) data prepare Measurement and Verification (M &V) baseline report, evaluate Measurement and Verification (M&V) reporting data and produce Measurement and Verification (M&V) project impact report. The outcome of this competency is inclusive performance assessment of an energy efficiency program or project, to measure the energy or demand savings, and to determine if the program is generating the expected level of savings. As a result, it generates accuracy and confidence levels acceptable to the stakeholders involved. |

As a result, it generates accuracy and confidence levels acceptable to the stakeholders involved. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees shall be able to: - 1. Plan energy performance Measurement and Verification (M&V) activities. 2. Develop Measurement and Verification (M&V) model and strategy. 3. Evaluate Measurement and Verification (M&V) data. 4. Prepare Measurement and Verification (M &V) baseline report. 5. Evaluate Measurement and Verification (M&V) reporting data. 6. Produce Measurement and Verification (M&V) project impact report. |
