| Penerangan CU | Set and props setup is a process of planning, organizing and arranging props requirement based on sequence of set requirement which movable and non-movable properties used in production such as furniture and replicas. Props are set according to the production’s script, story board or storyline and need to be located on the rehearsal session, before and after the production start. He or she is the person who prepares and arranges set and props setup whether in the studio or outside location which is based on production requirement. The person who is competent this competency unit shall be able to analyse set design, organise props on location, prepare schedule for rental and purchase props, plan props usage training and rehearsal, coordinate on set props and perform props dressing. The outcome of this competency is to ensure the performance of events are not interrupted and met the job requirement. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | This set and props setup competency unit is to analyse set design and produce full list of necessary elements. Perform dress up with all the detailing as per sketches. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will able to:- • Determine production design criteria • Determine required effect • Determine required props • Determine location and situation of props • Determine adequate storage facilities • Determine training skill level • Arrange facilities and equipment • Produce props storage report |
