| Penerangan CU | The Plant Layout Development competency unit describes the plan layout of major equipment and piping system which include operability, maintainability as well as safety and environmental implication in compliance with applicable regulation, codes and standards. A good plan layout will reduce capitalise cost and help to improve the safety of the plan. Piping designer is responsible to plan equipment location arrangement, study space for other disciplines requirements, analyse accessibility piping safety requirements and produce piping general arrangement drawing with the use of design tools and facilities software in accordance with industry standard practice, client specification requirements, design code and standard and Company Operating Procedure (COP). The outcome of this competency unit is to produce piping general arrangement drawing layout to meet client specification, safety procedure, cost effectiveness and optimise space utilisation in accordance with process philosophy within set time frame based on the availability and capability of resources. |
