| Penerangan CU | Automotive painting sealant is a process to apply sealant to ensure that the space between two mating parts, created due to dimensional variation, is void free. Mating multiple parts together magnifies this variation and results in a larger gap between parts and an increased risk of performance failure. Sealants are designed to be placed between the mating surfaces to overcome the deficiency. This process is to prevent water leak, vibration, noise and to have corrosion resistance The person who is competent in body sealer application shall be able to apply painting sealant process, damping sheet process & masking tape process, spray Plastisol Vinyl Chloride (PVC) at under body designated area, perform oven operation for sealant process and inspect painting sealant application,. The outcome of this competency is to develop competent personnel in performing body sealer application process activities meet quality standard as per company requirement. |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in automotive body sealer application shall be able to apply body sealer process to prevent water leak, vibration, noise and to have corrosion resistance.
