| Penerangan CU | Automotive plastic parts painting process is a process of coating plastic parts on vehicle by following painting procedures including surface preparation procedures and spraying for plastic parts. This process is to paint plastic parts with colour requirement as per company quality standard. The person who is competent in body spray operation shall be able to prepare plastic parts spraying requirements, perform plastic parts surface preparation, perform spray painting of plastic parts and carry out plastic part painting finishing activities The outcome of this competency is to develop competent personnel in plastic parts spray painting operation process to meet quality specification, lead time and comply with safety precaution |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The person who is competent in automotive plastic parts spray painting operations shall be able to perform plastic parts painting activities which are starting from masking, primer, moist sand, and top coat activities to complete plastic parts with colour requirement as per company quality standard. Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees will be able to :- - Prepare plastic parts spraying requirements - Perform plastic parts surface preparation - Perform spray painting of plastic parts - Carry out plastic part painting finishing activities |
