| Penerangan CU | Perform Maritime Air Operation (MAO) flight mission management describes the competency as a flight navigator/mission commander in maritime air surveillance flight. Maritime Air Operation is routine surveillance flight operation to monitor for any unlawful activities, locate for any distress call situation or intrusion over Malaysia waters territory. The surveillance will also include data collection for weather report and it usually last around 4-8 hours of flight for any single operation. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to determine MAO flight mission data, construct MAO flight mission navigation flight plan, prepare MAO flight mission documentations, execute MAO Flight mission pre-flight brief, carry out aircraft pre-flight check, carry out MAO flight mission in-flight cycle of duties and carry out aircraft post-flight procedure. The outcome of this CU is MAO safely conducted in accordance with Air Tasking Order and RMAF Air Power Doctrine (Strategy, Tactical and Operational). |

| Objektif Pembelajaran | The learning outcomes of this competency are to enable the trainees to develop MAO mission plans and implement them to ensure MAO safely conducted in accordance with Air Tasking Order and RMAF Air Power Doctrine (Strategy, Tactical and Operational). Upon completion of this competency unit, trainees should be able to: 1. Determine MAO flight mission data. 2. Construct MAO flight mission navigation flight plan. 3. Prepare MAO flight mission documentations. 4. Execute MAO flight mission pre-flight brief. 5. Carry out MAO aircraft pre-flight check. 6. Carry out MAO flight mission in-flight cycle of duties. 7. Carry out MAO aircraft post -flight procedure. |
