| Penerangan CU | Perform architectural painting rectification works describes the set of corrective measures taken to address issues or defects in a previously painted surface. These works can be necessary when the original paint job was not completed to a satisfactory standard or when the painted surface has become damaged or deteriorated over time. Some of the common examples of paint rectification works includes surface repairs (sanding, cleaning and patching), paint stripping (peeling or cracking), re-painting (thin or uneven coat) and finishing (touch-ups and trim works). Painting rectification works can be complex and time-consuming, but they are often necessary to ensure that the painted surface looks its best with the job done correctly and to a high standard. The person who is competent in this CU should be able to identify painting defect location, identify painting defect type, implement painting rectification works and implement painting touch-ups works. The outcome of this CU is painting surface is free from any defect, improved surface appearance, enhanced durability and increase in protection and functionality. |
